An Incredible Evening with Mary Calvi

On Friday, February 17th, FYPL and Yonkers Public Library welcomed the brilliant and dynamic Mary Calvi who spoke to the crowd of over 100 guests about her new novel, If a Poem Could Live and Breathe: A Novel of Teddy Roosevelt's First Love. Calvi's original archival research uncovered many never-before-published love letters between Teddy Roosevelt and his first love, Alice Lee. The book presentation was followed by a book signing. We thank bookseller Womrath Bookshop, for being on-hand for this incredible evening.
