Sally has been providing programming for seniors and children over the past 10 years and has collaborated with all three branches of the Yonkers Public Library throughout all those years. Sally has an extensive background in finance and budget and has launched a business with her husband which educates children and families on financial literacy. She is proud to work with Primerica where their mission is to help families become financially secure. Sally is known to wear many hats including advocating for students throughout Westchester including the Yonkers Council of PTAs, her school PTA, and the Westchester East Putnam Region PTA.
Sally remembers getting her first public library card from the Hunts Point Library in the Bronx and seeing the huge stacks of books on the librarian's desk. Her love for reading started at a young age when her mom was always encouraging her to read. She even had neighbors who would bring her books. She now instills her love of reading to her children. Sally continues her love of reading by taking part in a weekly book club. She and her husband have lived in Yonkers since 1997 and have two daughters that have also attended the Yonkers Public Schools and enjoy everything about all the libraries in Yonkers.
